Working with individuals and couples to find meaning and connection in their lives
I have practiced as a psychotherapist for the last twenty years, working with individuals and couples. I specialize in issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma and life transitions. It takes a lot of courage to engage in therapy, and I am constantly inspired by the growth I see in my clients. I believe that when we are more honest and accepting about all the parts of ourselves, we lead more satisfying and productive lives.
I am also a resource for parents and family members struggling with the challenges of raising a child on the autism spectrum. My services include groups for parents and grandparents; individual, couples and family therapy; and coaching. In addition, I speak and write widely on topics to support those families loving and raising kids with special needs.
Along with my passion for helping family members of children with special needs, I have a particular interest in women’s mental health, chronic health problems and parenting issues.
